Natives are referred to as “Qatari” but the expatriate community far out number the locals. Sudanese, Indians, Pakistanis, Filipino, Lebanese, Nepalese, British and American. There’s a movement called Qatarization. It’s an effort to get Qatari Nationals trained and educated in all fields of Art, Science and Technology. The American school campus inside of (Education City) a 10 acre compound called Qatar Foundation is attracting international students from around the world with its sponsorship programs.
