If your primary interest is U.S. companies overseas, Qatar will not disappoint.
The good news is there are two United States Military Bases in Qatar. An Air force base and Army base. Just about 5 miles from one another on the outside of town. The Bad news is you can’t get on the base unless you know someone who works there and even then it can be a challenge. The other way is to be invited of course. Defense Contractors inhabit the bases along with their respective site managers. It is a much easier transition if you are being hired from the offices located in the states. I have provided a list of active US Defense Contractors in Doha. Forward resumes to these U.S. Defense Contractors through their websites. Submitting resumes by snail mail can also be an effective method because many organizations have policies about opening all physical mail.
