I work as a Warehouseman in one of the contractor in Guantanamo Bay , Cuba (US Naval Base). I have been working for the base for nine years since 1998 to 2008. My previous job is Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Front Desk Supervisor. I would be a great asswet to any company who will hire me.

Hey there Cyrus90, just wondering how your job search and overall experience is going in Qatar thus far? I work as a Financial Controller in one of the world’s largest children’s hospitals in Toronto, Canada. I’ve previously worked in a Big 6 Canadian bank for 7 years. What kind of opportunites do you think are available for me in Qatar? I was planning on making a trip there to seek opportunities in June, do you think this is a good time to visit or are people away on vacation in June? What time of the year would you suggest for me to make my trip?
Thank you kindly.

Shawn, I know you have heard the phrase “a bird in the hand”. Accounting and financial backgrounds are desirable skills anywhere in the
world. Qatar is no exception. There are loads of opening on many of the sites mentioned in the U.S. Contractors page for Document Controllers and
Financial Analyst. You just need to familiarize yourself with the market before you just jump a plane.
