Ramadan vs. Muay Thai

by Cyrus90 on 2009/08/28

Sorry for not posting sooner but I have been traveling through Asia trying to take my mind off of the task at hand. Which is finding another contracting assignment in Qatar, I have explored the teaching situations in both China and Thailand. Thailand is my favorite of the two countries. There is no future for a 40 year old English teacher making no more than $1,500 U.S. per month, but that’s what most teachers make there. So again Qatar is fertile ground when it comes to personal progress. Bangkok, Thailand was full of losers from the western world hiding from the United States or England for one reason or another. Living the degenerate life style, Thai girls are making a living off of these guys. They choose Thailand because its cheap to live and even cheaper to die. But I know don’t want to disrespect the educators that are in Asia really making a difference. I spent my time learning Muay Thai Kick Boxing in Phuket, Thailand until Ramandan blew over. Muay Thai teaches you a number of different skills both mental and physical. How to kick and punch, how to control your emotions in stressful situations. It is almost a religion in Thailand. The alternative was to bored to tears during Islam’s largest holiday season. If your not Muslim Qatar during Ramadan is not where you want to be. The Muay Thai School I attend in Phuket, Thailand offers conditioning, yoga, meditation, detox specialist, and self defense. Its the best shape I have been in over 15 years. Thanks to Qatar I have been able to explore Asia for a extended period of time. I also have to thank my girlfriend Marlane. Lessons in Asian Culture are priceless if you plan to travel through Asia. Check the Muay Thai page for more on this Martial Art.

Aspire zone behind Villagio offers Muay Thai classes twice a week. The instructor is from Bulgaria or something.
