Maps of Qatar

Most maps of Qatar I have found were digital or some weird electronic tricks. The reason is the development of the capital city Doha is  exploding and its too costly to keep updating print media. However, I offer these maps to those who want a basic Geographic snapshot of the land mass that is The State of Qatar. Qatar is on a peninsula in the Persian Gulf bordered to the south by Saudi Arabia. The terrain is mostly flat and barren desert covered with loose sand and gravel. It is considered a safe place for foreigners to travel, and is refreshingly unspoiled by tourism, having started issuing tourist visas as recently as 1989. Doha is the capital city.  There are museums, mosques and decaying fortifications in the city and around the country.
